This paper aims to design a microstrip antenna used in the UAV platform wireless image transmission equipment. In PIFA antenna design, combined with the use of antenna specific environment, using a theoretical analysis and software emulation. Mainly do research and obtained results are:First, a rectangular microstrip antenna, for example, to study the microstrip antenna radiation theory, some way to introduce feed microstrip antenna and its analytical methods provide theoretical guidance for the design of later.Secondly, the inverted L antenna monopole then inverted F antenna evolution were analyzed one by one, and studied the influence of the parameters of each antenna to antenna performance. Through the analysis of simulation parameters, found a way to design the best method of resonant frequency. Finally, the simulation study of the inverted-F antenna, summed inverted F antenna L and value requirements of H1, to design a faster meet the application requirements of the inverted-F antenna has a good practical significance.Again, combined with practical application environment, studied the microstrip antenna broadband technology, and based on the theoretical study designed a small, ultra-wideband microstrip antenna loaded PIFA. The range of antenna resonance frequency is from 2.3GHz to 3.8GHz. The influence of the size of the patch antenna loaded antenna performance, and further optimize the antenna performance parameter index, so that the antenna bandwidth wider than 50% in absolute bandwidth. Meet the application in which the UAV airborne wireless video transmission equipment.Finally, based on the actual use of the environment, optimize gain and studied reflection plate thickness affects the antenna and the antenna surface coating on the antenna performance, gives guidance of design.All in all, the application of the UAV airborne wireless image transmission equipment microstrip antenna research is not a lot, but with the development of emergency communications, wireless real-time monitoring equipment, research in this area is bound to be good market demand and good prospects.
