Since 21th century, wireless communication has been more important. Antenna, as one of the important components in wireless communications, its performance determinates the quality of communication. With the flourish development of DAB multimedia service, it needs better performance for its transmitting antenna. This paper was based on the task for Anshan Yuanfang Ltd.. The main work of this paper is to analysis and design L-band antenna system for DAB service, including the design of antenna array cell and its power feeding network.At the beginning of this paper, it uses MOM (Method of Moment) to analyze dipole. It's very important in this paper. Then it simulates dipole antenna in MATLAB environment. As a result, we get some charts such as current distributing,radiation intensity and directivity. These results are the base for the following chapters. Through this section, we get better knowledge of dipole antenna.In this paper, dipole antenna with panel structure is used as basic cell in the whole array. This type dipole is not only with simple structure and easy to fabricate, but also overcomes the shortcomings such as low gain and restriction when the frequency is high. In this paper, the panel structure dipole is simulated in HFSS. We analyze and design the DAB transmitting antenna array based on the cell antenna. Finally we fabricate the practicality that contains sixteen dipole antennas with panel structure.The other task is to design and fabricate a power divider that can fit the requirement. First, we analyze power divider in detail theoretically. Then simulates and optimizes the model with the computed original value. At last, we get exact value that can be used to fabricate the practicality. This power divider is an important component in antenna array. In addition, the designed power divider is simple and easy to fabricate in block. It can be used in practice.
