At present there are so many ways to power, but at the coal-fired thermal power generation is still the mainstream in most areas. Realization of this project is mainly through the use of information systems in order to adapt to the fuel management business requirements, management to promote the scientific, standardized, while improving management capacity of enterprises, reduce fuel costs, plant information management. For power plant fuel management is crucial, If the fuel is not scientific management and reasonable supervision, the introduction of a number of relatively low fuel efficiency will greatly improve the company’s cost, In particular the use of low quality coal could result in serious environmental pollution and accidents. Therefore, by using the fuel information management system, the scientific management of the fuel will be very beneficial to the development of the plant.This paper detailed discusses the fuel management information system development process, respectively from the system of technology introduction and feasibility analysis, requirement analysis, general design, main function module design and implementation, system testing several aspects are described. Feasibility analysis of the system are discussed in the technical feasibility, and realize the economic feasibility and operation feasibility of the system. Demand analysis is mainly from two aspects of functional requirements analysis and non-functional requirements. Overall design the system is discussed in the process of architecture design, function module design, data model design, the overall design of the interface. And then discusses the detailed design and implementation of some modules, finally from the perspective of function and performance of the system was tested.During the trial run of some features has been amended and improved,system acceptance by the relevant personnel has been completed, and is currently running smoothly. The implementation of the system makes routine plant operations progress more smoothly. By quality control of fuel into the plant to achieve a different quality with different price to buy coal to power plants economic efficiency, and significantly reduce the emission of pollutants.
