Currently, internet business development rapidly, urban residents are mostly using ADSL and cable broadband. But for rural residents living scattered and coverage area is larger complex terrain and wired line basis difference, which is difficult to investment and the cost which is too high and the project can’t guarantee the quality and comprehensive coverage. Because of wireless WLAN technology mature gradually, access devices, tend to be perfect, use the wireless network technology for wireless coverage, became effective rural broadband network access. According to the characteristics of the distribution of rural residents, wireless access can be used in two ways: XPON + WLAN way, way of PTN + WLAN.XPON + WLAN method uses the network technology and wireless local area network(WLAN) technology. For general area, the wireless access point AP part can be directly connected to the ONU. Wireless access point AP populated areas, through a network switch after access ONU. This applies to user more scattered empty area(rural), cable access resource-poor Settings.PTN + WLAN transmission channel is the mode selection PTN transmission system of the Ethernet interface, IP metropolitan area network through the Ethernet interface to connect with PTN transmission network, the IP broadband metropolitan area network signal to the rural village head, mobile base station using WLAN equipment according to the 2 g and 3 g wireless overlay network coverage deployment. Public frequency 2.4 GHZ and 5.8 GHZ two frequencies can be used. Wireless AP after POE switches connected to the PTN transmission network link, the uplink receiving IP metropolitan area network. PTN + WLAN mode is suitable for the mobile communication base station has opened the area of PTN transmission network, more suitable for the decentralized, cable network layout of the rural.According to the wireless access technology to use different scenarios can choose different ways of networking, wireless access technology to establish a connection and billing, certification and passive optical network(PON) same PPPOE broadband access.
