With the rapid increase of the elderly population, the problems of pension and health have become increasingly prominent. In the modern busy life, sub health status and chronic diseases are spread widely. Population aging and chronic diseases make keeping abreast of their health condition, early prevention and treatment of diseases attract people’s attention. Computer technology and network communication technology develop rapidly, intelligent mobile phones gradually go into all areas of people’s lives, as mobile health monitoring equipment, they can be applied to the medical field. The application is creative and exercisable.In this thesis, a set of home mobile health monitoring system is designed based on wearable sensor technology, wireless Wi-Fi technology and Android system development technology. The monitoring system comprises a physiological parameter monitor, an Android client and a remote server. The monitor, connected with the physiological parameters collection sensors,transmits the physiological data to the Android client by the way of Wi-Fi. The client application program is developed in Eclipse environment using Java language. It can run on the Android smart phone platform, display the real-time monitoring data of blood pressure, heart rate, ECG, etc. Tomcat server and MySQL database softwares are installed on PC as the remote server, the server application is developed in Eclipse Java EE mode. The Android client connects with the remote server by Socket, which can register, login, modify information and upload, download files from the remote server.The monitoring system can accurately collect, display the user’s physiological data, and the data transmission between the client and server is normal. The result shows that the health system is a reasonable technical solution. The method used in this design provides a feasible scheme for developing a home portable mobile monitor and remote health monitoring system.
