With the rapid development of communication technology, the information industrialization field has shown urgent demand for storage capacity and access speed of embedded storage systems. Comparing with the traditional mechanical disk, the embedded storage systems based on NAND Flash have been widely used in the military field and other harsh environment because of the unique characteristics of high speed on read and write, shock resistance, low power consumption and so on, which have attract researchers and all over the world. However, the previous studies can only realize maximum data throughput 32MT/s per Flash chip, which is far less than the theoretic value 333MT/s it can achieve. Many key problems should be considered such as how to take advantages of multi-channel high-speed interface bus, the way to improve the actually bandwidth of Flash and reduce I/O access delay.In order to improve the properties of fast storage system, this paper has adopted optimal storage system architecture, which provides shorter transmission paths; considered the synchronization problems when multiple SRIO interface bus transmit data at the same time, it put forward the new data distribution method; the paper also proofed that the widely used asynchronous mode wasn’t suit the system, proved the feasibility of multi-stage pipeline operation with synchronous interface. In addition, considering the parallel technology may impact the storage capacity, the paper reviewed a kind of addressing mechanism about Flash array.The paper introduce a fast storage module that adopt embedded microprocessor as the main control core, the module has the ability of record real-time data, playback, import and export data, manage file system. The design set embedded processor as the main controller and implemented Flash array controller and SRIO controller in it. ONFI3.0 synchronization Flash array controller, integrated ECC module, can reset, read, erase and program the Flash array. SRIO controller based on the SRIO integrated Endpoint hard core realized transfers function.The experiment results show that, the research methods of this paper proposed to increase the writing speed and improve the storage capacity are viable, the fast embedded storage system designed in this paper can work steadily, the machine has achieve the expected performance index, the module is well practical.
