Temperature control system is a typical big inertia, big lag, nonlinear system in industrial process control, due to the trait of its controlled object is changeable caused by the complex environmental factors. Typical PID control algorithm can’t achieve ideal control effect.The temperature in the simulation experiment box is the controlled object, the mathematical model of temperature change is established according to its internal mechanism. The parameter of model is identified by the step response curve method. the expert PID control algorithm combined with Dahlin control algorithm and making feedforward compensation is effective to overcome the defects of the lack of precision control and improve the anti-interference performance. The contents and methods in this paper are verified by the MATLAB simulation and practical testing.On the basis of the control algorithm research, this paper designed the controller with low power consumption MCU as the core processor, and the host computer with a good interactive interface. The controller control the controlled object by implementing the algorithm. PC software programmed by C# send control commands to the controller, receive, analyze, store and display temperature data from controller. Through the control experiment results show that the improved PID control algorithm can achieve short setting time, zero overshoot and control precision within ±0.5 ℃ performance.In this paper, study shows that improved PID control algorithm can effectively solve the large inertia, large lag, nonlinear problems, strengthen the ability of anti-interference of the system. The intelligent controller with low power consumption MCU as the core control algorithm is flexible, simple, economical and practical. In this paper, the research has certain reference value to the design of process control instrument.
