Tube furnace is a heating equipment that wildly used in oil refining, petrochemical and chemical, chemical fiber industry. The material (only gas or liquid) flow in the tube installed in the furnace is heated to the required temperature. The material temperature is the basic control requirements, but for the existing energy crisis, improving the thermal efficiency of furnace, energy saving through better furnace optimal control is more meaningful.For the furnace's character of multi-variable, time variety, non-linearity and strong coupling, The paper jump out of a control framework fully based on mathematical model, combine the control methods and control situation at home and abroad, design corresponding control strategy to control furnace's main parameters:material temperature, air/fuel ratio and furnace pressure. For the material temperature, the forward feed cascade control plan with Dahlin-Smith compensation is proposed. The vice-return route introduces the Dahlin-Smith estimate to emigrate the pure-delay from the vice-link. At the same time, the main returen route introduces the smith prediction again to overcome the effect of pure time-delay that the vice-return route transfers to the main link vice-return route. In the furnace, use double-crossing-limiting ratio control to set corresponding limit amplitude in the fuel and air route to ensure combustion be in a micro-peroxide state and full combustion of fuel and air. For the air/fuel ratio, design the P-Fuzzy-PI control system to change air-fuel ratio. For the furnace pressure, design forward feed control to elimate the effect of forward disturbance.The strategy simulate by Matlab. The simulation result shows that the control process runs automatically and the result shows the strategy is feasibility and has better control performance. Propose a new control strategy and get better performance at the aspect of real-time control and improving combustion efficiency compared to the traditional furnace control based on mathematical model.
