This paper regards the control systems of azimathal and elevational axis as object and describes the background, significance, precision turntable overall structure in the introduction.Precision turntable is an important part of a high-precision pointing system, control system performance are excellent or not, performance on the turntable pointing system plays a crucial impact. Precision turntable widely used in automatic tracking and targeting systems, thus improving control performance for both national defense and civilian livelihood has great significance.Traditional control theory based on the mathematical model of the controlled object, for highly nonlinear or very complex, it is difficult to establish effective control object model, interference factors and environmental influence device parameters. Unpredictable controlled object will result in mathematics model structure and parameters. These issues is very difficult to solve by the traditional control theory based on model, intelligent control theory just to make up the shortcomings of traditional control theoryFor the high-precision turntable control system, this paper presents two control methods: one is based on the traditional PID control, using of engineering experience and expectations characteristic method to calculate the parameters of the controller. The second is a fuzzy PID control method, using fuzzy controller to adjust PID controller parameters on-line and optimize the performance of PID controller. In the sixth chapter, based on MATLAB Control System Simulation, the process of establishing detailed fuzzy systems, program implementation and simulation results, are dicribed and the results is analyzed.
