The smart home is a new living concept with the combination of many new technologies. Nowdays, more and more people pursue the mental enjoyment. The traditional design concept has failed to meet the demand of modern people. The equipments of smart home are relative expensive. If it is showed by the practical equipments, it costs a lot of money. At the same time, it fails to fulfil the need of individual.This project uses the technique of 3D modeling to accomplish the Model about residential area. It does researching about the simulation system technology. By collecting data and applying the software of Sketchup, it can build the models of simulation system. Then the models need to be optimizated, which are tending to construct a realistic home environment. The simulation of interior intelligent fucntions are realized, which are contribute to combine Unity3 D rendering engine with the virtual simulation technology. The experiencer can recept the same feeling that the smart home bring. This simulation system is relative light and handy, it is easy to take away.The interaction and autonomy of 3D visual simulation technology are to be utilized for this smart home simulation system. In order to reach the perfect rendering effects, it takes full use of the Shader Lab about Unity3 D. So, it gives user the visual effect about daytime, night and outdoor, as same as the true natual environment. It can enhance the immersion of user and simulate the fuction of smart control.This is the main details of research:(1) The indoor and outdoor models have been established and optimized in the software of Sketchup. The models that have been bulided were imported to the Unity3 D. Then, it utilizes the build-in skybox to simulate the sky. In order to express the effects of falling leaves and geyser, the system adds the Particle system. By applying the fuction about creating trees of Unity3 D, it is planted in all scene. At the same time, by using the technique of normal map, it can strengthen the authenticity of all trees in the environment. The moving trajectory has been planed and designed by using Bezier curve.(2) It is the indoor environment that has been founded by Unity3 D. Because every furniture has been added the Level of details, it reduces the wastage of computer and ensures the smoothly of whole system running. Different type of lights have been added in different location. The full scene anti-aliasing has been opened in the whole process, it makes the picture more neat, hence, it improves the visual effect. High Dynamic Range which simulates the nature sun has been utilized in whole indoor scene.(3) By Combining the Collision detection technology and the Animation technique of Unity3 D, it realized the automatic switch about doors. In order to make the curtains, TV, washing machine, solar panels and sprinkler to active, it uses the Unity3 D animation components. So as to reach the effect of smart click showing, it takes advantage of the menu button to draw the corresponding control menus for the simulation system interface in Unity3 D.(4) In order to make the display system more ingenuity, the simulation system uses the function of Unity3 D Shader to achieve the transparent about house’s roof and floors. The house and furnitures are added fuction of blanking for display, so as to ensure the simulation system running smoothly. Using the occlusion culling technology of Unity3 D is a good way to reduce the scope of rendering. It is essential to have a dimension text guide for user to browse the structure of all house directly. It also provides the change color about dimension text.(5) This simulating system blends in the concept of energy conservation. It unites the animation of Unity3 D to simulate the working condition about three pipelines, which effect on the water recycling. This simulating system is easy to take and interactive. Concurrently, it takes different customers to experience the convenience and fast which the smart home brings about.(6) For the purpose of enhanceing the visual effects and image quality about the whole system, it capitalized on the SharderLab of Unity3 D to achieve the special effects, for instance, FSAA, HDR, Flare, Fog, etc.
