With the rapid development of society, the integration degree of computer technology and network technology, embedded technology is higher and higher, making video monitoring system to raised to a new step.It can be seen everywhere in people’s life,previous video monitoring need wiring to transmit data, but the distance was limited, at the same time can also cause huge waste of resources. At present on the basis of the network communication of digital video monitoring is more popular for the people,it can make use of existing network resources to transmit data over a long distance, the transmission distance is not restricted.In some cases it has high real-time requirement of video, for example, video conference, the handling of traffic accidents, etc.,this requests that the video data of transmission and the display need reduce delay,wireless close to real time as much as possible.So the current real-time video monitoring have been the focus of the for the experts, only real-time protection, people can quickly response to process to the corresponding event.This article aimed at the disadvantage of the previous video monitoring system, according to the characteristics of the high real-time requirement of video monitoring system,the research and design a kind of based on h.264 standard of video monitoring system of embedded web server.Through to the h.264 standard coding algorithm research,improving the motion estimation part of the interframe prediction,Optimizating the algorithm of search, reducing the time correlation between frame and frame, reducing time consumption. By making the Linux operating system and transplantation、transplanting the web server boa、transplanting sqlite to complete the construction of the whole system. Then put video images which the USB camera collected using h. 264 encoding code library to code,and then through the real-time transport protocol RTP/RTCP to transmit video streaming, open the browser to input the IP address of the server remotely to the scene of the real-time view of monitoring images.In this paper, based on ARM11 S3C6410 development board as a development platform, the system complete the video image acquisition、 compression、storage、 transmission and monitor display.Setting up the hardware and software development environment,verifing the algorithm of coding.The experimental results show that based on the S3C6410 development board platform, hardware and software working together, to collect the real-time transmission and display of image compression, to a certain extent, improving the real-time video monitoring.
