Design And Realization Of Video Monitoring System Based On RTP/RTCP

With the rapid development of the technology of multimedia, network and communication, monitoring systems have been also in the continuous process of updating and developing during recent years. The objection of the project is to design such a system with full functions, which are mainly embodied in the following aspects: digitization of video, network of system, multimedia of application and intelligentization of management.The thesis analyzed some disadvantages of the existing system, which have single function and can not span multi-net-segment to surveille the scene from the long-distance. In the thesis, we considered some key technology such as the system must deal with and store a great deal video and audio data, real-time performance of video transmission. We set focus on resolving transmission protocol, through analyzing RTP and RTCP, aiming at the characteristic of digital video surveillance system that many users would share video information at the same time, and designed a project of real-time digital video transportation based on the any IP network. So the performances of video transmission and quality of service are ensured. At the same time, we designed and realized the system software based on the project. In the thesis, we gave the resolving projects such as net structure, hardware composing , choosing network protocols and each module, and also gave the realization of the server. The achievement of the thesis has been applied.
