Nowadays, inkjet printer is widely used in various industries.Trademarks and bar codes etc. owe to the use of inkjet printer. Most of domestic inkjet printers use MCU or FPGA as controller, using PC to realize image processing and system configuration, etc.The entire system has high production cost, and its large volume is not conductive to maintenance. In order to enhance the efficiency and reduce the cost of inkjet printer, the thesis puts forward and designes a high resolution inkjet printer system which based on S3C2440 A processor. The system has good practical value.First, the thesis introduces the source of the subject, understand inkjet technology, research domestic present situation and development trend of inkjet printer. Second, the thesis makes a simple introduction of embedded system which is used in the project, introduces inkjet printer nozzle’s selection and the structure of selected XJ128 nozzle. The thesis describes the design of inkjet printer hardware system in detail.System uses a 32-bit RISC microprocessor S3C2440 A as the controller to build hardware platform and design the peripheral circuit to drive nozzle. The thesis mainly introduces various functional modules of the system, which contains ARM9 main controller circuit, power supply circuit, nozzle driver circuit, input and output interface circuit. ARM9 main controller circuit is the central part of the hardware platform,which contains the external memory expansion, clocking circuit and reset circuit. Power supply circuit includes all the power which is needed by the system and power on-down sequence control circuit of XJ128 nozzle.Nozzle driver circuit is to ensure that the processor can communicate with the nozzle, which contains the level conversion circuit, printer nozzle standard interface conversion circuit. Input and output interface circuit includes USB interface, JTAG interface, network interfaces, power supply, LCD interface etc.And then the thesis expounds the realization of the inkjet printer hardware platform, which contains the design of PCB and system debugging. The design of PCB introduces component placement and routing process, taking measures to improve system reliability. System debugging contains welding of electronic components on PCB and the debugging of various modules.After the system tests, the designed system can steadily run and spray printing sample instance is presented. At last, the thesis tailoredes a shell for inkjet printer. At the end of the thesis, topics are summarized, and prospects.
