The high energy consumption of data center has become a problem of concern. Under the background of the growing tension in energy and resources, it is significant to reduce energy consumption of data centers and optimize the energy consumption pattern in order to improve energy utilization efficiency. But at the planning stage of data center construction, the rational use of energy and resources is often failed to be considered, resulting in the high running energy consumption, and the engineering is usually too large to rebuild. It not only brings heavy economic burden to the enterprise, but also makes enormous environmental pressure. According to some statistics, the power consumption of air conditioning system accounts for about 30% ~ 45% of total power consumption in data centers, which has huge energy saving potential. In order to reduce the energy consumption of data centers, at the planning stage, the cooling and heating source supply system should be designed reasonably. The optional cooling and heating sources should be analyzed from the aspects of feasibility, economy, security in order to determine a relatively reasonable way of energy supply. In this paper, the main research contents included air conditioning load simulation, electric power load and hot water load forecasting, energy configuration scheme comparison, energy saving strategy analysis. First, a simulation of the annual dynamic air conditioning load of buildings was run through De ST to get the cooling and heating load index. Second, power load and hot water load was forecasted by the methods of power density and quota calculation respectively. Finally, according to the load forecasting results, building energy supply schemes were determined, including the cooling water source heat pump, ground source heat pump, solar power supply system, etc. And the feasibility analysis and economic analysis were made to choose the relatively reasonable schemes.Through this paper, at the planning stage in data centers, feasible methods was provided for the rational allocation of energy, and a reasonable solution was provided for energy saving running of data rooms at the same time.
