The Study Of The News Commentary Based On The Theory Of GSP

The GSP of the News Commentary includes 7 aspects which are the title, the signature of the article, the background of the events, the object of the reviews, the comment and the conclusion of the events. The title, the signature of the article, the object of the review, the comment and the conclusion are the necessary parts of the article which decide the macrostructure and the linguistic features of the News Commentary, while the backgrounds of events and other article material are optional parts. From the expression function, the article title can be sorted for four kinds which are the assertory title, the suggestive title, the questioning title and the topic title. Regarding the news aspects, the narration of the News Commentary is a fraction which contains the comments from the writers. The reports of the news events is different from the reports of the news narration,which often apply about one hundred words to express the writers’ subjective opinions. The conclusion, the last of the News Commentary,represents the writer’s opinions. The conclusion patterns can be classified for the countermeasure pattern, the alert pattern, the opinion pattern and the attributing pattern.
