Under the boom of the TV news commentary, commenter has also becoming boom and multivariate. The multivariate TV news commenter contains three aspects:the boom of subject, the boom of critiquing approach and the boom of comment itself. The object of this study is concerned with the TV news commenter. We start the study from the history of the TV commentary on CCTV. During this process, we learn the true meaning of the multivariate TV news commenter step by step.The study has used three kinds of research methods, just like the literature analysis, the case analysis and the text analysis. Along with the research of history of TV commentary on CCTV, we will show the different parts of multivariate TV news commenter together. The multivariate critiquing approach contains three kinds, like the brief comment, comment and taking on comment when having a conversation. Besides, speaking the facts directly or not must be also been noticed.The fourth chapter analyses the significance and influence of media progress. The discussion starts from three aspects, including the development of media technology, the change of concept and the change of the audiences. With the development of ENG, SNG and other media technology, TV news commentary changes enormously.
