Y group is currently one of the largest auto parts production enterprises in China, the group hopes the SAP information system construction project to build the group’s core operation platform, SAP is not an ordinary IT software, it contains the advanced management concept and highly integrated business process model, project risk management is considered to be the key to the successful implementation of the SAP project, this paper discusses how to ensure SAP project implementation of the project for effective planning, risk identification, assessment, in order to circumvent the risk of project to improve the implementation success rate, promote its implementation in the true sense of the ascension of the overall group, IT(information technology) the overall strength of the major objectives, and for the same type of manufacturing group implementation SAP project cope with risk management to provide the reference in the future.This article from the perspective of project risk management for the implementation of the project will involve risk at the beginning of research and analysis, for Y group’s SAP project risk planning, risk identification, risk assessment and on several aspects. This thesis use brainstorming method, expert evaluation method, analytic hierarchy process(AHP) and other technical means, the process of the project implementation is discussed at the beginning of the main risks that may occur. In the project planning stage, risk analysis summarized the SAP project risk management planning division of responsibility of the person in charge of all the major define of the overall organization frame of the project team and the important role of the main duties and responsibilities; In the project risk identification phase, project risk level, summarized the demand risk, technology risk, management risk and external risk of the four main aspects, and carries on the hierarchy analysis. In the project risk control phase, through convened meetings and the use of question list to avoid risks according to the project risk assessment and ensure that the project continues to advance, to ensure the project successful implementation step by step.
