Aviation transportation industry being one of the most important sectors of modern transportation industry, the output of Chinese aviation industry valued 500,1 billion yuan in 2001, accounting for 1.1% of China’s GDP, while that of the USA accounted for about 4.9% of its GDP. Therefore, in the future, the development potential in China aviation industry is enormous. With the rapid development of our country’s civil aviation in recent years, airlines has been constantly opening air lines and increasing aircrafts. The aircraft maintenance cost as a large part of airlines costs is drawn more and more attention. Airlines are placing emphasis on the control and management of aircraft maintenance cost. How to use the advanced information management measures to integrate resources in this information society, and manage the aircraft maintenance systematically with information technology, building a management system of route maintenance suitable for the enterprise in order to improve its capacity, is the key point of this study.This paper gives a brief introduction of the history of China’s civil aviation and features of aircraft route maintenance management, and puts forward an airline maintenance management model, which is centered in the route maintenance service, and implemented by maintenance support, maintenance control, dispatching and maintenance quality management. The paper analyzes the business requirements of the route maintenance management model; route maintenance management information system was designed and implemented; the route maintenance management model was verified and achieved.Research content of this article:1. To study the characteristics of aviation route maintenance through an elaboration of the China civil aviation development history and the development of civil aviation maintenance management, this paper discusses the present problems of the maintenance of aviation routes. In view of the existing problems, it analyzes the needs of the current business process and route maintenance control mode, and thedevelopment of the industry. It puts forward a suitable management model for the maintenance of civil aviation routes. The route maintenance work is divided into four main sectors: maintenance support, maintenance control, dispatching and maintenance quality management. With the effective combination of the four sectors, the system as a whole can produce a route maintenance of safety, airworthiness timeliness.2. In view of the proposed maintenance management model of civil aviation routes, this paper carries on a detailed analysis of the business needs. Through the flow chart and use case diagram, the maintenance of overall business routes is analyzed in detail. The business needs of maintenance support, maintenance control, dispatching and maintenance quality management are discussed. Data of maintenance support and maintenance control modules are from the external human resources system and supply chain; The dispatching module is discussed as the focus of the management model, along with the establishment of a standardized team to resolve the low efficiency in route maintenance manual dispatching; Maintenance quality management module is analyzed by general document scanning upload and data archiving, including reliability management for aircraft maintenance data and collecting data, and corrective actions are applied to the implementation of the maintenance so that route maintenance remains within the airworthiness standards.3. According to the maintenance management of the business needs of the aviation routes, the system overall architecture design was completed including module logical architecture and technical architecture. In addition, maintenance support, maintenance control, dispatching, maintenance quality management modules are designed in details. By analyzing the key factors in the airline maintenance work, dispatching logic was designed, and the manual and automatic dispatching was achieved.4. This paper presented the maintenance management information system of aviation routes, and verified the route maintenance management mode. Based on business process modeling, according to the development of the analysis phase formation of the business process model, the maintenance management information system of aviation routes is given the overall design and along with the database design strategy. This paper completed the development of maintenance support, maintenance control, dispatching and maintenance quality management modules, achieving the system functions.Finally, this paper verified the validity of the various functions of civil aviation aircraft route maintenance management system designed and implemented in this article.
