First of all, the paper makes the demand analysis and definitizes the functional domain and the information domain of the system, tessellating the whole requirement, sorting out the requirement specifications. Afterwards the paper makes the system overall design from the angle of software engineering methodology, dividing the system into four modules: Tree Structure, Recommending Data Elements, Data Element Form and Graphical Maintenance. Next, the internal logic and the database design of the system are accomplished during the detailed design, the relationship of the functions is also definitized. The system adopts ExtJS as the front frame, Java as the background language, realizing a information management system whose feature is graphical maintenance.After the test, the system can maintain the data element easily on the graphical structure.
