The distinction between system administrators and ordinary users of the use case analysis of the system is takes, a detailed analysis of video surveillance, video playback, log query, system settings and other functional modules of the system.2.Hardware and the software design of the system. Chooses the GM8180 chip as the main chip to design the system. Analysis the system management software design, the function of video playback, video playback, log query, system configuration is designed.3.design the system storage scheme. In the design process, according to the features of video data, and demands of Kunming public security monitoring management, using the method of disk array as the storage scheme to design, gives the detailed storage plan.4.According to the characteristics of the hardware, using the Linux kernel as the enviroment of hardware platform. The Linux kernel transplantation, focus on the development of system boot, and according to the characteristics of equipment image acquisition, prepared the video capture CGI script, the web server programming using C#, to achieve the basic functions of video monitoring system, video playback, playback log query, system configuration.From the application of the system, video files are transferred respectively to web servers by using the system itself as well as the inbuilt real-time operating system, furthermore, the possibility of distribution in a large area can be achieved through internet-based link and transfer, at the same time, extended functions of centralized control can be applied into the surveillance management in a more efficient and applicable fashion, which will be beneficial in improving a more informative security monitoring system.
