Thanks to the Fossil energy sources, such as petroleum, natural gas and coal’s wide range of investment applications, the world economy has developed rapidly. However, excessive use of conventional energy, leading to energy depletion, therefore the development of new energy, new energy production is already looming issues.Solar street lights have as a way of photovoltaic application. Its system is composed of solar street light stand, LED lamp, solar lighting controller, battery(including battery incubator) and photovoltaic components. This study want to design of a self-selection software for solar street light in different environments and different needs of PV modules. The purpose of our study is designing a Solar street Selection Software for TDG company. The main function is that:According to the customers’ requirements, The software will calculates a reasonable battery size for customer, in order to ensure the street lights use more than three days in rainy weather.According to the customers’ requirements, Software offer the best solution for the customer,Including component assembly design, design front, the back design,and so on.Depending on the solar street light installation location, provide the best angle component installation, ensure that the components have the best power efficiency.This paper mainly studies that using the Microsoft Visual Studio software develop ment platform and C # programming language to develop this selection software for Tia ntong solar module used in street lamp. According to the functions of this software, it is required to fulfill three main functions. This paper firstly do a detailed discuss to the des igning scheme of three module materials for the solar street lamp. By using the professi onal solar photovoltaic design software PVSYST, it simulates the generating capacity of the solar modules of different specifications, referencing the needed materials of differe nt modules. Using engineering and product designing software AutoCAD to design the assembly diagram, front views and back views which are used for different specification s of the solar panel, selecting the needed materials of different modules. Using the cleanenergy consciousness 、decision support and functional building tools RETSCREEN, utilizing the first 20 mete orological data of different cities’ to simulate the best installation angle of each urban, c ompleting the angle selection of different modules. Then, according to the function dem ands of this software, based on the system function, design the interface, backstage and database of the whole software. Also this paper detailed describes the internal structure, module relation, running process to the three modules. At last, based on the interface an d database of the software, adding the different functions of these modules, it edits code to complete this solar street lamps selection software.
