The Design And Implementation Of The Population Information Sharing System Of Luoding

The twenty-first century is the era of information technology. With the rapid development of information science and technology, demographic information automation management has become a domestic and international trends, whose purpose is to achieve a more reasonable and efficient population management. Through the management, it will be more convenient and effective to manage the huge population data. Meanwhile, the planning and the policy guidelines for national development is based on the management of population resource. It is of great significance to have a good management of population resource for China’s large and wide spread population. Thus, the research of a better management of population resource is a necessity. Up till now, China has not established a sharing domestic system for the management of population. It lacks the overall planning and top-level design. At present, in some parts of China, the traditional manual way is still employed to store the recorded information, which fails to meet modern needs. Besides, with the development of modern information technology, computer technology has become increasingly mature and it has gradually penetrated into all aspects of daily life. Various functional departments of the community have been building up their information management. Although China has rich information about its population, yet the information is seldom shared among the functional departments. They all have their own but separated or unnconnected authoritative data, which is never integrated. So in this situation, it is significant for me to create a sharing management system for Luoding demographic information resource among the city departments, which aims at facilitating the development of the management of population resource.This article focuses on the design and implementation of Luoding demographic information sharing management system among the various departments. It explores the ways to share the information about the population resource, linking every island of information and improving the efficiency of data sharing. Luoding demographic information sharing management system is applied in the departments of Luoding public household, medical care, family planning, civil affairs and education, including basic demographic information management, different queries, reporting statistics departments and business application functions. The key lies in how to implement the sharing of the system among the different departments and ensuring data accuracy, completeness and timeliness. This system mainly employs the J2 EE framework technology and MVC model, combining Oracle Database and Web to build a system environment. Thus, it ensures that the system can solve the problem of large volumes of data.The design has successfully built an excellent demographic information sharing system, which provides the users a good searching experience. The system is divided into three levels: the user layer, the business layer and the data layer. This abstract illustrates seven examples for the seven modules, that is, one for each, which is from the functional requirements analysis, flow chart of each module, aspects of database design to the operation interface. What’s more, the system has a detailed and complete system testing. It solves the problem of the separated "information island" phenomenon and achieve a complete, accurate, and timely sharing of demographic information exchange, which greatly improves the efficiency of cooperation among various departments.
