As a kind of important information resources, population information has a high utility value, which can guarantee the scientific nature of the national policy and system, it can promote the development of the society. In recent years, China’s social and economic development is rapidly, the population flow frequency is gradually accelerated, in the process of making various policy measures and the development decision, it will applied to population information, thus, the population management is very important. At present, our country has realized the importance of the floating population management, and built the special department to manage and control it, the quality of management has a certain improvement. The author mainly combined with the current urban floating population management situation, developed a set of specific information management system for the floating population, and analyzed the design and implementation of the system, in order to improve the whole efficiency of management, and the quality of management.In the process of establishing the floating population information management system, should build more new operation mechanism, fuse a variety of management measures, under the market-oriented operation mechanism, with the help of guidance and regulation of government agencies, the floating population informationization management will be more standardized and normalized.This research with the aid of integrated information management platform of the floating population, under the three-tier architecture model,analyzes and discusses the floating population information management system design and implementation process. In the process of the development of the system is applied to a variety of techniques and software platform, including comprehensive statistics, illegal record, family planning, temporary residence permits and the floating population and so on many management module, which are several big key modules of the system platform, the function of the different management module each are not identical, to serve the population information management.This research is divided into four stages: the analysis, design, implementation and testing of the floating population information management system. The main contents are as follows:The first stage is the analysis of the floating population information management system, from the network environment, software and hardware environment Settings, technical requirements and so on, analyzed the development technology and the database type of the system platform.The second stage is the design of the floating population information management system, that the overall architecture of the system and the topological structure chart are analyzed, the design process of the system and the data center construction system are studied.The third stage is the implementation of the floating population information management system,that the three-tier architecture applications of the system in this paper are mainly discussed, the realization of the population data management modules in the system is studied, and the illegal record query, comprehensive statistics and the realization of the management module are analyzed, and summarizes the countermeasures to solve the problem of the key.The fourth stage is the testing of the floating population information management system, which mainly starts with the test requirement and testing process, and analyzes the content of the system’s test and the comparison of the performance of the system database to obtain the result.Through discussing the above four stages of different part of work and results in detail in this paper, the results show that the system function is good, can satisfy the requirement of the user to use, good scalability, structural optimization, maintenance is simple, the performance is very strong,it has played a great role in promoting the working efficiency of the floating population information managemen.
