CT (Computed Tomography) is a breakthrough applied in medical field which combined computer science with X-ray technology. It brings the traditional X-ray diagnosis technology into a new era of computer processing and digital image displaying. CT has been developed to multislice CT. Breaking through the traditional CT, this design of the spiral CT adopts the technology of slip ring, power cable and some signal lines connected to the fixed frame in different metal ring movement of the X-ray tube and detector lead slip brush with metal ring. The ball is not limited by the length of the cable pipe and the detector, along the long axis human body rotate at a constant speed. The scan bed synchronizes at a constant speed with a trace of spiraling. It can be compledted quickly and continuously by volume scanning. Because of its special diagnostic value, CT diagnosis has been widely used in clinic. Combining with Neusoft medical systems co., LTD.,’s new generation of CT system research and development projects, CT data storage based on FPGA and the design of high-speed transmission device are proposed. This thesis firstly summarized CT and introduced the basic principle of the CT system, overall structure and functions of each part. After that, the CT development status at home and abroad and finally illustrates the design of the devices and related technologies were detailed.Having analyzed the function and requirement of the next generation of CT system, this thesis puts forward the FPGA technology to realize the storage and rapid transmission design request, and determines the structure of each device and expounds the various device type selection, design and implementation. This design adopts Xilinx latest generation 7 series FPGA, using RLDRAM data caching, greatly improving data reading rate, and apply the GTX transceiver as the design of the physical layer, Aurora 8B/10B communication protocol as the protocol layer, realizing high speed data transmission.Through debugging and performance testing of this design, the results prove that the proposed design fully comply with the requirement of the job sequence and function of CT system. Finally aiming at the deficiencies in design, some corresponding improving measures are put forward.
