Digital Television Broadcast Subtitles Edit System In Real Time

The development of network and digital driving the improving of the digital television technology level,Television is more and more high to the requirement of subtitling software. The traditional broadcast subtitles edit system already cannot satisfy the demand of subtitles overlay. In order to meet the needs of today’s subtitling, many companies developed a new generation of broadcast subtitles compose systems.Although a certain extent to meet the requirements of the new audio systems but there are still some problems:1. The image of the subtitle file zoom existence obvious jagged edges, Font edges appear jagged, if the font is too larger. 2. The scrolling marquee speed cannot adjust as required. 3. The animation subtitles and left fly marquee cannot play continuously according to the Times. 4. The subtitle file template is not able to share, when multiple channels need to be playing the same subtitle template, users need to edit subtitles, respectively, in multiple channels.The purpose of this research is combined with the actual needs of today’s television subtitling, designing and implementing a good interface, complete functions, good performance of broadcast subtitles choreographing system. This topic needle at the same time analyzes the broadcast subtitles at the problems existing in the system of the plait, and gives the corresponding solutions. The main contents of this paper to complete the following:1. Design and implemente the subtitle editing client. In the editing module enables to add subtitle files; achieve subtitle file attribute modification operations; achieve preview subtitle file; subtitle file data management; sharing subtitle file.2. Design and implemente the subtitle broadcast client. In the subtitles broadcast module can realize data download; Implement the management of the broadcast subtitles operation; Implement the subtitle file play, send, stop playing, and other functions.3. Using edge detection techniques and improved edge-adaptive interpolation algorithm for image zooming subtitle eliminate jagged edges of the image; With the method of eight direction shift stroke, eliminate the words of the sawtooth phenomenon;4. The testing system. The system function and performance test, test results can meet the expected requirement.In some television stations to be put into use, the system through user feedback shows that it is a beautiful interface, powerful functions, easy operation, good system performance, can meet the demand of television subtitles.
