Separation Technology And Standards Of Subtitles

The subtitles of television industries are information content, such as texts, pictures, superimposed on the TV screen.Subtitles separation technology is, during producing and broadcasting TV programs, effectively separating subtitle information from video and audio data, saving respectively or network migration, achieving whole process association of subtitles script works with video. Subtitles separation technology that can solve the multi-format release of media contents, achieves producing and broadcasting respectively on broadcasting lines, improves the efficiency of production and broadcasting, and also makes the broadcast more secure, brings a number of advantages for program production and broadcasting, media data storage and reuse of the contents.This paper analyzes the background of subtitles separation technology, presents the limitations of current subtitles separation techniques, according to the randomness of subtitles operations, designs subtitles separation in the multi-tasking operating system, proposes the solutions for subtitles action time-code and describes the definition of data structure and interface code.The realization of the subtitles separation techniques inevitably proposes the requirement for data forma(?) standards of the separated project files. To achieve the interactions of project files between different manufacturers or different types of subtitle devices from producing domains to broadcasting domains, the entire television industries must adopt an unified subtitles separation standard. As the requirements of CCTV, this paper discusses the normative standards, which the most commonly used subtitles, lyric subtitles, should follow when separating, also according to the standard, accomplishes the import and export interface definition for subtitles action time-code list and code implementation.Finally, this paper describes the use of these two techniques, subtitles separating technique and separating standard, in CCTV high-end island project. Implementing the solution for video, audio and subtitle project whole process separating under the requirements. Showing good normative and flexibility in the actual application, achieving very good results.
