Design And Implementation Of Front/Forward-Looking Images Data Acquisition System

It is widely used for the technology of image data acquisition in the fields of space, medical, communication,and so on. It is especially used as the basic technology for developing image implications.It is necessary that aiming at special using conditon to develop the corresponding image data acquisition system in the engineering application of Front Forward-looking System. The Front Forward-looking System, together with inertial navigation system(INS), satellite receiver, GPS receiver, radar altimeter, imaging device, use and control each device to work collaboratively. It can record and store the data from each device when it collects the image data simultaneously.Functions and implementation scheme of the Front Forward-looking Images Data Acquisition System is introduced in this paper. The system is made up of image collector, task planning and data processing software, which run in the upper-computer. It is also given the implementation method of the hardware in this paper. Functions of all the modules is designed based on the system hardware, which is structured with MPC8377 chipset and FPGA.The software of the image collector is as embedded software. It can mainly perform functions such as controlling data collection, data storage, and data display, uploading data, setting and downloading flight mission information, intercomparing the flight path automatically, and so on. Software of task planning and data processing perform the task management of flight path and calculation of test data. Testing about this system is introduced in this paper. The performance of the system is vertified through the image collection in outfield testing. It is proved that the performance of this system is satisfied with the designation necessary. Sum-up and prospection of this designation is given at the last of the paper.
