Computer 3D virtual world can be connected to different users in different places at the same time participate in a virtual space, providing the user with regard to visual, auditory, tactile and other sensory or simulated, allowing users as immersive general. This paper is the reality for these requirements to build a distributed virtual reality platform as the main object of study, in-depth analysis of today’s distributed computing and virtual reality on the principles and techniques of distributed virtual reality platform key technologies in-depth discussion and research, mainly as follows:1. Distributed virtual reality platform analysis, from basic working principle of virtual reality, the hierarchy, the overall architecture, virtual reality and virtual reality applications workflow built on several aspects of the process, such as distributed virtual reality platform for the research and design.2. Virtual Reality extension mechanism is proposed to support a variety of virtual reality applications running on distributed virtual reality platform extension mechanism is responsible for providing hosted virtual reality platform application runtime platform and virtual reality environments, virtual reality applications and interfaces operating mechanism proposed.3. Virtual Reality application load balancing and directory services, when faced with a large number of users accessing virtual reality applications that require different dynamic deployment of virtual reality applications to run on different servers to get great service, and the ability to support user queries or virtual platform deployment and operation of real-world applications to dynamically access to appropriate services. The demand for the proposed dynamic load balancing of virtual reality applications and virtual reality applications deployed naming and directory services solution.4. Virtual reality data management, distributed virtual reality platform will provide operational support numerous virtual reality applications and users for its massive data management requirements proposed virtual reality data model, data management design principles, data management and data distribution system architecture design.5. Virtual reality and interactive visual presentation, the main platform for distributed virtual reality and interactive visual presentation were studied, and the overall visual presentation and interaction framework, processes, data exchange formats and key interfaces and other aspects of design and implementation.6. Distributed virtual reality platform security mechanisms studied authentication, authorization, passwords, auditing and monitoring technology is proposed based authentication username and password, Web components and EJB authorization levels, storage encryption for distributed virtual reality platform operation and maintenance monitoring audits and other security mechanisms to increase the security of distributed virtual reality platform.
