Along with the development of simulation and the increasing of system scale, load balancing is becoming more and more important in large-scale distributed interactive simulation. But in previous distributed simulation system based on HLA, it just built federate and federation according to physical model or mathematical model which brings serious uneven distribution of load. During the simulation process, HLA does not provide load-balancing mechanisms. And HLA interface rules also does not propose the concept of load balancing while the existing RTI software (such as MAK RTI) also fails to provide load balancing services.The thesis deeply studies load-banlancing in distributed simulation system based on MAK /RTI to meet the requirement of large scale distributed simulation system, and validates the load balancing mechanism in the Distributed Virtual Fight-test system that is developed by our lab.First the Distributed Virtual Fight-test system is briefly introduced in this paper. Then the design principles of the load balancing mechanism in Fight-test system are analysed and the load balancing system architecture is designed in detail.This paper focuses on load monitoring, load migration and migration policy of the load balancing in Fight-test system.For the purpose of solving the problems including the complexity of the Fight-test system's architecture, the large node number, large transmission data and a variety of load information, this paper adopts artificial neural networks theories in the load monitoring process, and the load monitor module could efficiently monitor and deal the load information with LMBP algorithm.Different from previous research,this paper uses "push" mode to migrate attributes ownership in load migration process,and proposes the adding node detecting mechanism to deal with the problems under the load migration process. In view of the difficulty of obtainning the migration entities' information, borrowed "object manager" from VR-Link the "entity attribute manager" is designed.
