Today, with the development of China’s railway construction, the Chengdu Railway Bureau is going to reduce operating costs, enhance competitiveness and management level of the railway catering business. This makes new demands. It is necessary to take information management. However, the railway catering business includes many complex implementations links, each link consists of specialized functional subsystem management. They need frequent communication between the various subsystems to complete the harmonization catering business. Because of the differences between message format and interface protocol, existing catering management systems often have problems with communication between different subsystems that leads to the difficulties of operational harmonization, which greatly reduces the system’s run speed, affects the stability of the system. Therefore they do not meet the regulatory standards of Chengdu Railway Bureau catering business.Under this context, the team I belong is commissioned by Chengdu Railway Bureau to study on the basis of the rules of the railway catering business management. Accurate understanding and analysis railway catering industry business processes, effective the demand of catering base management in Chengdu Railway Bureau, combined with software engineering techniques and advanced management concept, design and develop a system with reasonable structure and stable operation, improve the function of the railway catering management system. In order to solve the communication problem of railway catering management system, we chose the ESB-based system integration solutions. ESB(Enterprise Service Bus) is the core element of the SOA(Service-Oriented Architecture) architecture. SOA is an application architecture based on service-oriented enterprise service bus, which can ensure the flexibility and interactivity of the system at the same time while expanding the system, so the system integration framework has been widely adopted. According to the specific needs of the railway catering integrated management system, we choose to use Mule ESB as the railway catering management system integration framework. In this project, I primarily do the Mule ESB integration framework, and participated in the core module of material procurement, ordering management and warehouse management the. The main contents of this paper are as follows:First, analyze the research background and purpose, describes current research. SOA introduces theory and related technologies, focusing on the concepts of the ESB, including the definition of ESB, structure and benefits. Then, give the design architecture catering management system and describes the specific implementation steps, give some key code and interface screenshots, and do the system integration work, choose the appropriate integration platform based on open source ESB platform features and the actual situation of the project, as a basis based on the completion of the railway catering management system integration framework to build, finally summary the full text, indicating the direction for future research.
