With the development of railway informationization, the business departments have produced much foundation data, which are important sources for research work in schools. At present, because of the independence of the systems, they are difficult to share data. There are amounts of information isolated islands, which is difficult to meet the research requirements of integration data. Building a foundation railway data platform becomes an urgent problem need to solve. Constructing data platform involves a large number of data transformation and data integration. Data transformation methods have a bearing on the efficiency and quality of data transformation, while data integration methods directly related to the merits of the data platform performance and the needs for further application. Therefore, this paper provides three different data transformation methods and two data integration methods.In this paper, the method of using OLE DB to access heterogeneous database and transform data are proposed. The spatial data transformation methods are studied, the method of extraction attribute data and topological relationship data are proposed, and the transformation methods are realized on spatial data in railway. The equipment attribute data by using automatic mapping method are proposed on the basis of rail efficiency in the production of thematic maps. In-depth studies on these methods and detailed introduction to the processes for realization are provided in this paper.It is necessary to study the appropriate data integration methods when facing the complicated railway data. On the basis of studying the current popular methods of integration, two kinds of railway data integration methods suitable for the characteristics of the railway data are proposed, namely, the use of data warehouse to integrate different sources of data and use of GIS technology to integrate railway equipment data by mileage. The data model about the data warehouse is designed, and the data integration process of data warehouse and the realizing are studied. The process of railway station and line equipment integration maps is studied, and the use of 3-D virtual reality GIS technology to integrate railway equipment data is researched.
