The Application Research Of Data Warehouse Technology In Data Integration Of Railway

ABSTRACT:China's railway information system has owned a complete business system and has accumulated massive business data after many years build-up.However, these data scattered in a number of independent systems and formed many "information isolated islands",resulting in the dispersion of the information and the low level of data application,which could not provide the decision-makers with integrated,efficient and accurate information.To solve these problems and promote the development of China's railway,it is necessary to use the data warehouse technology to integrate,extract,and process these data to find information in order-to support the decision-making and to provide the decision-makers at all levels with the timely,accurate and scientific information.Firstly,this paper simply introduces the development of the data resource integration technology both abroad and at home,the knowledge of data warehouse and correlated knowledge as a basis to deeply research the theory of data warehouse in the following chapter and to reasonably build up a data warehouse in the application. Secondly,it gives the themes of the railway information system on the foundation of the detailed classification of the railway data resource,and chooses the sub-theme of freight to carry out a specific analysis and build up a model using the research fruit of the previous chapters.Thirdly,it builds up the data warehouse on the platform of SAS. Fourthly,it realizes the complete integration of the railway data resource using the data warehouse,structures the uniform data storage formation,providing a standard, comprehensive data source to carry out deep and wide data-dig,data analysis and application.Finally,it connects the SAS with the web service to make up the lack of web environment application and realizes the web application by the connection of SAS and intranet,which gives the convenience of Web users,and also solve the Web to respond to the problem of weak,and provides a technology line to build based on B/S structure of the data mining system and decision support system.At the same time,the realization of the entire road within the scope of the sharing of information resources to achieve a full exchange of information resources.In order to accumulate a large number of accurate information resources on the basis of advanced technology in data warehouse platform for data mining decision-making,so as to provide decision support rail service. In this paper,it takes the sub-theme of freight transport as an example to carry out a detailed analysis of the data integration process,which realizes to integrate the railway data resource using the data warehouse and SAS tools,so as to provide decision makers with comprehensive,efficient,and accurate information through the Web browser,and to achieve the sharing of railway information resources in decision-making.Data Warehouse Technology in Data Integration of Railway will help to break into its "information isolated island" and to realize the sharing of information,to unify platform for data analysis environment,and to provide excellent data basis for decisions of high quality.
