This for the research of this topic provides ample theoretical basis.In view of this topic is the basis of the existing Ethernet and optical network, so we should not only know SAN and Ethernet, familiar with their working mode and technical characteristics, also need to select the parts we need from the Ethernet and modified to apply to the improvement of SAN, at the same time, also need to analyze the existing switches to extract the useful part of fusion, so the core work of this topic is how to make use of the existing norms and standards, a new fusion processing model, the original equipment and efficient integration, as a new type of whole.Firstly the background of this project, task, research significance and theoretical basis of systemic introduction, then existing ordinary SAN network storage technology, Ethernet and fusion of Ethernet technology made a detailed comparative analysis it is concluded that the fusion of SAN network advantages of Ethernet technology, determined to SDN based centralized architecture to realize the fusion of SAN and Ethernet, then the scheme for the frame design, process design and software design, and the process of every important module separate design and implementation, and then the process integration and reliability analysis and execution efficiency of optimization.
