Planning And Design Of Metropolitan Area Network For Jiu Jiang Telecom

The “Broadband Chinese” strategy is being implemented and new business such as cloud computing, IPTV, Internet video, LTE, high speed line is developing rapidly。It brings higher requirements for MAN( metropolitan area network) network architecture。The development of telecommunications network technology(IPv6, link of 100 G Bandwidth, MSE, BRAS cluster and so on) laid a technology foundation for MAN IP bearing network architecture development.Firstly, this thesis describes the planning and designing methods of metropolitan IP network. Then it gives full explanations of networking princles and main service types based on the development direction of China telecom. Finally, by combining the status of Jiujiang Telecom MAN, this thesis presents the future target architecture planning, makes construction and investment plan of MAN for next 3-5 years, and puts forward the technology optimization plans for Jiujiang IP MAN.
