Application Of DWDM Technology In Broadcasting Metro Network

In recent years,with the development of CATV Technology and user demand,especially in the "convergence of three nets",the cable TV operator business is a single one-way business to diversified development,gradually to the two-way development。 TV is slowly becoming the home multimedia terminal。 The application of HD video,interactive on demand and other new services has a higher requirement for the network bandwidth,while the bidirectional and high-speed backbone transmission network is the basis of the network。The main work done as follows:(1)The initial network design phase, the authors participated in the local cable network resource survey, among the key indicators of the site optical loss measurement, the local metro core aggregation layer link direction planning, system configuration planning channel organizing local DWDM ring network, Offices segment channel optical power accounting, business critical work of the Board to the number of open configuration, based on the past year and growth dynamic expansion device estimates channel redundancy configuration to ensure that the network structure and the channel configuration in line with business growth, to avoid repeated short upgrade and expansion of an adverse impact on the business.(2)Network construction process, the author and DWDM manufacturer technicians, cable planning staff together to participate in the project in accordance with specifications complete equipment, core, and other indicators tested to ensure compliance with design requirements to meet normal operating requirements DWDM.
