With the information age, high speed broadband business development, represented by the IP data business growth, has gradually become the mainstream network business, however the traditional metropolitan area transmission network is directed to the voice and the general business of special railway line, to the original technical means for data services to provide efficient, stable platform, is bound to face a lot of problems. Therefore, there is a need for new network technique to solve.In this context, DWDM and PTN technology development for us to provide solutions. In addition to providing customers with high efficiency and stability of the transmission channel, still need to cost, bandwidth, network, efficiency and reliability requirements of research, and to build a high quality, flexible configuration, having a high survival of transport network.This subject first describes the principles of DWDM technology, the key technology and protection method, and then the PTN technology principle, key technologies and construction scheme were discussed, on DWDM and PTN technology application in metropolitan network. Through the study of DWDM system and PTN system network structure, system, service bearing mode, protection mode selection principle, targeted for the metropolitan area transmission network construction and reconstruction provides the basis and the suggestion. In this paper determined the Tianjin metro transport network reconstruction scheme, firstly analyzes the original OPCS protection network shortcomings, OP protection and OPCS protection than what advantages, by reforming the content, reform steps, transformation risk analysis, personnel arrangements and other aspects of reform, put forward to use OP1+1channel protection scheme, application of OP protection to optimize the network of the corresponding channel, at the same time out of business security demand, and further expand the OP protection characteristics, were related to a service single plate configuration and test work, for the use of OP branch1+1protection provides transformation conditions. Through the transformation, in addition to the possible elimination of previous single mode of protection of the unfavorable factors, and for subsequent business access to provide more protection, improve channel security, flexibility.
