This thesis starts with the concept of enterprise informatization. At the beginning, current situations of the informatization development at home and abroad will be discussed and enterprise informatization’s positive significance for the operation and maintenance management of value-added machine room will be demonstrated based on its daily working background. With the rapid development of computer, various new technologies are updating continuously. Therefore, the technological threshold is becoming lower and lower, and enterprise informatization has been extensively acknowledged and accepted by Chinese enterprises. The method of enterprise informatization also plays an increasingly important role in enterprise’s daily office and management.In the process of China’s enterprise informatization development, the most significant manifestation of enterprise informatization method is the construction of an information management system fit to enterprises management. The Management Information System(MIS), leaded by the personnel at all levels of enterprises and taking advantage of computer hardware and software, network devices and other teleworking facilities, conducts the collection, transmission, processing, storage, updating and maintenance of the information in enterprises operation. As an effective means, enterprise information management system serves as the carrier of advanced management concept and gives the best play to advanced management technologies. By means of this intensified man-machine interactive system, the executive efficiency of enterprise operation can be effectively enhanced, so as to support enterprise’s high-level decision-making, mid-level control and basic-level operation, strengthening the enterprise’s external competitiveness strategically.Focusing on enterprise informatization and in combination with the daily operation and maintenance of Shanxi Unicom’s value-added service machine rooms, this thesis studies the design and realization of the operation and maintenance system of value-added service machine room, so as to provide an unified platform for the operation and maintenance system of value-added service machine room. From equipments into machine room, to construction commencement, project acceptance and inspection, property confirmation, resource statistics and to daily maintenance, all steps link with each other and are recorded. This value-added system will overcome the problems of out of sync and poor sharing for materials, data and information caused by maintenance personnel’s willful acts, making sure the uniqueness, accuracy and continuity of machine room resource information. Besides, search and management interface with high affinity is adopted to ensure the highly operability as resource information conducts maintenance, and a more accurate, scientific and effective inquiry and invocation. As a result, the daily operation and maintenance work for the entire value-added service machine room will certainly be smoother, and the work efficiency and quality will be improved.This software system adopts the B/S structure and realizes the three-tier architecture design of the software based on the extraordinary MVC model from Microsoft. The entire system date storage is based on SQL Server 2008 database and the codes of the Model level and Controller level in the three-tier architecture are developed by VB.NET language in the ASP.NET structure. In consideration of the access of such devices as PC, tablet PC and mobile phone in difference sizes, HTML5+CSS3+JS technology is introduced in the client of the software system and VB.NET dynamic language is nested for its realization.
