With the increasing of the global human number and the earth ecological deterioration in the process of industrialization and increasing scarcity of resources, many countries and regions are increasingly concerned about the management of resources and environment, information construction technology. Especially with the raoid progress of computer science and technology and network communications, Utilization of advanced information technology building urban landscape management project to achieve autonomy landscaping ecological environment, transparency and effectiveness of the progressive development as an important way to manage the construction of urban greening the environment, So, it’s self-evident that the importance of design and development of a feature-rich, technologically advanced urban green space environment integrated management system, the system can greatly improve the efficient conduct of urban parkland real-time management and remote control.The information systems engineering construction projects of Chengdu City forestry afforestation including four subsystems: park management, green space management and forest resource management, forest fire prevention, and emergency management. This thesis is the study and analysis based on Park management subsystems. This thesis introducing the history and current management of the world’s urban landscape management in different countries, combined with research and practice in our country at this stage of the urban landscape management systems, systematic analysis of Chengdu urban landscape management information and the actual situation, designing and developing the featured urban landscape management systems based on the Internet and local area networks, geographic information systems(GIS), remote sensing technology(RS), global positioning system(GPS), Specific content includes the following aspects:1. Explanating the park greening management information system urgency with practical overview of the theory of management information systems technology solutions, designed the technical architecture of the entire management system;2. Introducing the program information collection and acquisition of actual information to establish a management system of Chengdu, and the basis for the data collection of information stored in the management information;3. Detailing the green project management, park maintenance, park woods and technical support, some functional modules statistics and analysis of the data and report management system and advanced features the establishment of a data table keyword;4. Combining with the security and reliability of the entire system, giving the practical advice to strengthen the security of the system;5. Achieve the function code establishment throughing the Web, JSP platform technology, database language SQL Server systems, and javascript.This thesis’ s developed operating platform is based on Microsoft’s windows xp pro, the back-end database management system using Microsoft SQL Server 2000 to use ASP development platform based on browser/server, object-oriented development techniques, Javascript language to achieve GIS, the SQL Server and management procedures as well as a high degree of unity of the hardware, to create a safe, reasonable, powerful information management platform for park management.
