Based on the information on the status of road traffic safety and road traffic information management system based on the analysis of geographic information systems technology in system development in-depth study and follow the software engineering ideas developed information based on GIS road traffic safety management system of systems, the system development process and methods are discussed, and focuses on the design and dynamic positioning display traffic information system database as applied to related technologies.Firstly, the paper on the development mode of traffic information system GIS-based selection, system users and the system needs to define a detailed analysis of the design and functionality of the system and to identify critical technology systems logical framework and structure of the framework and systems used Finally, determine the system development environment.Secondly, the paper uses key technologies and implementation of the system has been the focus of research, including traffic information system database and display the design and implementation of dynamic positioning technology, which applied to the database information management technology, linear referencing methods, dynamic segmentation technology, online analytical processing using the data model and data model based on the lane, and through the linear referencing and dynamic segmentation method detailed analysis, given the traffic accidents and road congestion information dynamic display methods and processes.Finally, the development of the system implementation, this paper the design and implementation process of the system modules were elaborated and presented the results of its user interface and implementation.
