With the rapid development of programmable logic device technology, FPGA technologies gradually become one of the hottest research in the field of embedded. In order to increase the flexibility of the FPGA chip, the researchers begin to use a variety of configuration technology to reconstruct its function. Now, however, to complete the FPGA configuration, for the most part, must be in the form of "face to face", namely in the configuration of FPGA chip, serial ports or parallel ports connected to the local PC are needed. So it have the following disadvantages:(1) Requires specific configuration cable and configuration tool, thus increases the cost of development, and reduces the efficiency of development.(2) No processor for logic control, which is unfavorable for software debugging.(3) Due to limitation of the cable, which reduce the system maintenance, the convenience and versatility of the FPGA development are reduced at the same time.In order to solve these problems, this paper move on to the remote configuration based on Ethernet technology. Compared with the traditional methods of development, the remote development mode is not subject to geographical and time constraints, and the remote development mode can be achieved the FPGA chip configuration through the network, therefore, make the application field of embedded FPGA technology more widely.At present, the development of methods for remote control studies mainly based on the traditional micro-controller configuration mode. On the basis of this study, this paper through a SOPC technology, with a soft-core processor instead of the traditional microcontroller, not only can decrease the cost of the embedded design, at the same time can also solve the problem of data transmission convenience. The application of communication system based on embedded soft-core, simplify the design of the FPGA configuration data transmission. In this paper, the concrete research contents include the following several aspects:First, the main control board in the engineering design FPGA embedded soft core, coordinate specific hardware, set up the hardware environment, achieve hardware logic design which processor as the core, so as to set up an embedded processor environment, for the next step Portable Operating System to determine the hardware environment.Second, based on embedded soft-core transplant the embedded operating system. Mainly based on PetaLinux source, on the basis of engineering board of hardware environment, in the soft core embed Linux operating system. Mainly for building software environment to run JTAG program after.Third, complete the JTAG server program and the JTAG drivers. So as to realize data transmission channel between the application process and the Linux system and the FPGA chip, make it have the transparent call interface to the application layer.Last, test the JTAG configuration data transmission channel. Mainly complete the function testing and performance testing of the system.In this paper, the research for the application of SOPC technology in the Internet provides the research idea and reference solution. This paper finally realize the function of remote configuration of FPGA chip, improve the scalability of remote configuration system, the results will be the further development of the mode of remote development has certain theoretical and practical significance.
