With the rapid development of FPGA technology and craftsmanship.it supports more space for developers in design,which is more complex,demanding and high performance.It is because of the extensive use of FPGA,in order to expand the applied range and development's flexibility,researchers are constantly looking for a new technology to simplify FPGA debugging technology.Due to recent FPGA debug modes all have same problems as follow: using private debugging tools?only can debug FPGA face to face and don't permit collaboration debugging mode.In order to solve the above problems,this paper puts forward a method of remote FPGA debugging based on Ethernet.The method can effectively resolve the defects of traditional FPGA debugging modes,and can also reduce the development and maintenance cost while bring down development and maintainability cost.The key research contents and achievements are as follows:First of all,to construct an embedded minimum system which center on MicroBlaze embedded processor on the hardware development platform.On the basis,to uses hardware description language write the JTAG data processing module which archives to analysis and transmission the JTAG data,and then the module hanging on to the embedded system.Through the above steps to build a needed embedded platform of this design.Then,on the basis of the embedded platform built on the first step,we use the Petalinux development kit to move into the Linux operating system to build the software running environment for the software application.Next,the development of the Linux operating system in the transplant of the server application program,used to interact with the remote client ChipScope process,the function of data transceiver.After receiving the data,the application transmits the data to the JTAG data processing module,so as to realize the data transmission of the remote process to the target FPGA.Finally,according to the design goals of the whole system and the realization of the project,test this system's function and performance.Thesis studies and implements the FPGA remote debugging scheme based on the SOPC technology,expand the FPGA's development domain,to support theoretical reference and application for subsequent studies of remote development provides a theoretical reference and application.
