With the development of business, integration of the new transport network will be large bandwidth, flexible scheduling, clock synchronization and large‐scale networking. The traditional MSTP network can not meet the demands of integrated service access and ALL IP, because of large bandwidth, poor adaptability burst traffic access. It will push towards packet evolution from the traditional transport network. TheSDH, DWDM and MSTP will be replaced by packet transport network.Based on IPRAN, packet transport network can achieve 2G, 3G, LTE, government and enterprise line services. It can quickly adjust their business routes and have good scalability and reliability.Gradually replace the transport network composed of so many different technology like as SDH,DWDM,MSTP,and implementation of unified business loding in future.Under current condition of networks, this paper studies the evolution and strategies of transport network. By references to IPRAN technical characteristics, protection programs, QoS, clock, etc., I analyse the strategies based on IPRAN, including model selection, routing deployment program protection deployment strategies, service deployment and summarized the optimal deployment scenarios.I have made a detail planning IPRAN local transport network for our current condition. According to local transport condition and business needs, long‐term development direction selection proposed deployment, network planning, technical evolution of traditional transmission technology to packet transmission technology. Construct a local network with the OTN+IPRAN. OTN network act the role of carrying GE, 10 GE uplink and downlink channels and the Internet for IPRAN. Early IPRAN bearer network planning new LTE, 3G base stations, post successively carrying green business customers and large particle data services, gradually weakening MSTP, until it vanishes.Finally, I will verify the IPRAN transmission network deployment strategy and test the network by local network.
