The Application Of Interface Automated Testing For Packet Transport Network Management System

Based on Multi-Service Transport Platform of Synchronous Digital Hierarchy technology ,The technology of Packet Transport Network is developed. On a certain extent, Packet Transport Network provides functions of carrier-class packet service delivery. The development prospects and important position of Packet Transport Network is self-evident. Facing the fierce competition in the market of telecommunications and in order to seize business opportunities and market share, equipment vendors have to strive for balance between speed and quality. Software testing technology has begun to face new challenges to ensure software quality, the manual testing has clearly can not meet demand for the product and the introduction of automated testing is imperative.This article mainly focuses on researching how to achieve interface automated testing of Packet Transport Network network management system. The thesis conducts in-depth study on the concept of software testing, automated testing theories and key technologies, combined with the analysis of Packet Transport Network network management system architecture and interface, introduced the principle of achieve interface automated testing of Packet Transport Network network management system with ISEE. It has done a detailed description of the ISEE on its design framework, component architecture and working principle, and fully described the entire process of automated testing which from the establishment of the test environment to the analysis of test results.This paper summarizes the application results of automated testing of Packet Transport Network network management system. Instead of using manual testing, automated testing greatly reduce the workload of the software testers and improve the efficiency of the test, while reusability and maintainability also meet the requirements for software testing and win a lot of valuable time.
