Software Defined Radio is one of the important development trend of Wirelesss Conmunication,the main idea is to realize all kinds of radio function with software in an open, general,modular hardware platform. It can be reprogrammed or reconfigurable,it’s band information, interface and function can be upgraded by download and update the software.For a long-term perspective,the Software Defined Radio is aim to change radio environment and adaptive allocation of the transfers data rate,channel encoding and adjust the channel frequency,bandwidth and intellingent access to mode wireless communication system,so as to make full use of spectrum resources.According to the above theory,combined with existing hardware technology and the digital singal processing theory,a functional reconstruction Digital Siginal Processing platform was designed.The system is a reconfigurable hardware processing platform with open VPX architecture.The system is used to deal with various of problems by combining different components or elements together.In this paper,IF board provided abundant peripheral interface by FMC card,as the same time in the design of IF module,IO module and digital processing module is modularize to achieve common use.The main work is as below:1. Research the basic theoretics of Software Defined Radio and Digital Signals Processing especially the reconstruction technology and VPX technology.2. Design a scheme of reconfigurable high-speed siginal processing platform based on VPX architecture.The composition of its platform,system function and architecture design is described in a detail.3. Design IF main board,including the design idea,basic framework, the choice of components and scheme design.4. Design FMC Mezzanine Card,including the design idea,basic framework, the choice of components and scheme design.5. Test and validation.
