As the considerable progress of computer science, network and mobile terminal, many education researchers combine mobile terminal with online education together to generate a new studying method-mobile learning. This has been more accepted by scholars and universities, and related products have appeared more and more. Apple provid a good hardware environment for mobile learning as it generates iOS system and mobile terminals. Teaching broadcast system based on mobile terminals is an extension of mobile learning. Because of adding the module of assistant learning about math,this system provides a platform to communicate and interact between students and teachers as well as among the students.This thesis aimed at the research and realization of teaching broadcast system based on mobile terminals. Based on math learning, we develop a system of mobile learning in which we can communicate with our teachers and students anywhere we can access the Internet. The main work of this thesis as follows:1. Do some research on the background, significance and the research status at home and abroad of the studying tool of mathematical, electronic whiteboards and the video broadcast system based on iOS.2. The key data structure and algorithm: This thesis design the algorithm of drawing geometric image and layout of mathematical formula, and also study the audio and video data frame structure on the iOS platform. Deal with and then layout the binary tree of character expression to draw the graph. This algorithm can be applied to the case of an expression containing mmocular, binary operator, math functions and text variables. The layout of mathematical formulas need to generate a binary tree of expression accoding to the priority of operator, and then traverse the binary tree to complete the layout according to baseline of each operator and choreography specification of mathematical symbols.3. This thesis design and achieve a video broadcast system based on iOS. It includes two modules, mathematical whiteboard in which has geometric mapping, algebra, whiteboard and videocast in which has audio capture, video capture, network transmission, video player.After real test the video broadcast system based on the iPad platform shows a good effect. Module of mathematic whiteboard can draw geometric image, compute and display algebraic formulas. Live video module will be able to combine images from the camera or screen real-time with collection data of audio to form a video to send to the server, and it can also play a video stream from the server in real time. This satisfies the requirements of live video based on mobile terminal, and make a great contribution for the further development of teaching broadcast system based on mobile terminal.
