After nearly 20 years of great efforts of capital investment and construction, informatization of Health system has been widely used in all kinds of various-levels professional health institutions and health administrative institutions. But due to the time differences in the whole process of the construction of health information systems, and lack of the overall plan charged by the information department in the whole construction which caused the widespread of "information isolated island, chimney information". For example, it’s difficult for traditional heterogeneity and business-oriented.R&D system to adapt and meet the requirements of health in the future business development. In view of this, it’s necessary to establish a unified, high degree of information standardization and multidimensional data warehouse in a certain area. And then meet the demand of different levels of users through effectively health data integration and data processing.The content of this paper is based on the actual management requirements of sanitary bureau of Shuangliu, Chengdu(sanitary bureau for short), which is to achieve health care data mining and analysis, completely analyze and realize the warehouse construction and health data mining, and demonstrate several stages according to the actual requirements of sanitary bureau.The medical multidimensional data design and model building mainly use the common process model, logical model, physical model and generates data warehouse; In the integration of heterogeneous data sources, it make full use of the XML technology to accomplish health data ETL process, realize the data warehouse integration of different county in the configuration database data integration.As for the personalized demand of sanitary bureau of Shuangliu, the on-line analysis of data warehouse mainly based on cluster analysis and correlation rules to achieve some research results for the health management, especially for the disease surveillance and control.The presentation of data warehouse report comprehensively considered needs of users of different levels, adopt a mature report customization and display tools for the analysis of medical data mining result display.The actual significance of this paper is to successfully integrate heterogeneous data scattered in various medical and health care professional institutions through the existing ETL technology based on XML, and integrated into the medical multidimensional data warehouse, meanwhile,on basis of the data warehouse, has fully used the data mining tools and integrated the classical algorithm in the field of data mining to achieve the centralized analysis of health data, these methods have a certain reference and decision-making in achieving health bureau of health management, forecast and control of disease.
