According to the advancement and development of the sensor technology, modern network technology and wireless communication technology and other related technologies, a modern sense of the wireless sensor network emergence and development. ZigBee technology as a new low-power, low-rate, and low-cost short-range wireless communications technology, and soon became the preferred communications used in wireless sensor networks. In this paper, ZigBee technology is applied to data acquisition system, to avoid large amount of cabling, high cost of installation and maintenance, and reliability faults in traditional wired sensor network data acquisition.In the design of the system, motor experimental platform as the background. Through the analysis of wireless communication, hardware and software requirement, design the overall scheme of the system. Combining with the characteristics of data acquisition and ZigBee technology, some key problems need to be solved in design of the system.In the design process, the paper chooses ZigBee tree network structure and tree routing algorithm. In a detailed analysis of the original safeguard mechanism insufficient after network fault, this paper presents an active maintenance mechanism based on link quality indication. In this mechanism a node can detect the link quality indicator between itself and other node, and break the links which are not fit for routing to reduce the influence of routing failure for the system.On the basis of the patch estimation algorithm and adaptive weighted algorithm, design the patch-adaptive weighted fusion algorithm. Get the mean and variance of the single sensor by patch estimation algorithm. According to the mean and variance calculate the optimal weighting factor of each sensor based on adaptive weighted algorithm, finally get the desired results. Through the analysis of examples to verify the feasibility of the algorithm, while the algorithm is applied to the data acquisition system in this paper.Finally, give the specific design and realization process of the system. On the hardware, choose CC2430 of TI Company as the main chip and design the network node. On the software, using open source protocol Z-Stack of TI Company, according to the specific needs of the system, transplant and modify the protocol stack code and write the related application. Based on the realization of the system, the system were tested, including data acquisition and transmission, communications test, data fusion performance, power consumption and so on several aspects, and satisfactory results were obtained.
