Design And Implementation Of College Students’ Knowledge Management System Based On ASP

Knowledge, the main rhythm playing in the 21 st century, is the core resource for colleges to maintain their persistent competitiveness. Colleges should not only provide professional knowledge studying, but also cultivate students’ capacity on scientific research and self-learning. Based on this, college students should improve themselves by knowledge management, especially to enhance the ability of using a variety of learning resources. Knowledge sharing and innovation is undoubtedly the core of knowledge management. For college students, their study can be divided into autonomous learning and non-autonomous learning. At the same time, with the continuous progress of society, the requirements of scientific research ability for college students have been asked to strengthen, therefore, study on college students’ knowledge management has very important significance.As a college educator, I have a good understanding about current college students’ learning. At present, quite a few college students’ learning is independent informal one based on network, which requires students to have better abilities to distinguish, analyze and select proper information. Meanwhile, the abilities of self-monitoring and selfevaluation will also be relatively strong required. At the same time, college students’ learning needs communication and writing, and knowledge management is definitely the best measures to solve the problem in the process of autonomous learning. Therefore, the research and development of college students’ knowledge management system has far reaching significance to improve their studying competitiveness and efficiency.In this thesis, college students’ knowledge management system is designed based on the theory of knowledge management and student knowledge management. In the designing process, it made a questionnaire survey which is about current college students learning styles, learning environment and situations of knowledge management applications. Aiming at the college students’ learning characteristics and the difficulties in implementing knowledge management, it studied college students’ knowledge management tools, techniques and knowledge management system. It combined ASP concept as well. Using the Windows operating system, combination of WEB and XML technology, Access, SQL Server database and tool making WEB pages, the research and development of college students’ knowledge management system was completed. Finally, the system was evaluated as well.With constant improvement of social requirements for college students, it is an important issue we should focus on for students’ knowledge management during their learning process. Through the study of this thesis, hope to offer reference for the research of college students’ knowledge management.
