AEROSUN CORPORATION has established ERP and PDM. PDM is used for managing product data, such as BOM and technics routing and so on which is the data source to ERP product engineering data. At present, AEROSUN has five series product, flexible hose, pressure vessel, engineering machinery, special-purpose vehicle and art statue among which flexible hose and special-purpose are multi type, small batch and short delivery circle product. And special-purpose vehicle is a kind of industry which has complicated structure. In 2011, the incomes of these two series product take up 54.23% of company total income. For these short delivery period products, it needs to finish product structure design in short time by PDM system and generate BOM. And then in ERP system, build up product-manufacturing BOM and finish material maintenance to complete product manufacturing.Company management mode is manufacturing per contract which is typical discrete manufacturing industry. Most of company’s products are non-standard product which are manufacturing per clients’ demand. For company which manufacture per ETO, one-off production and small repetitiveness decide that it needs to prepare material, BOM and technic routing and other basic data by ERP for every manufacture task. If product has many spare parts, complicated structure and much data, it can only guarantee accurate and timely data source by system integration. With the popularizing of ERP and PDM, realize information sharing and data building up together of ERP and PDM, shorten the research time of manufacturing BOM and building up technic routing and realize integrated application of PDM and ERP are become a brand new topic for AEROSUN on the road of information constructing.By analyze the application information of domestic and foreign company and researching of AEROSUN’s ERP/PDM, AEROSUN proposed questing bi-direction integrated application and research. Through integrated application of ERP and PDM, ensure information sharing and same data and exert management effect of system combination.
