The research has found that most of the domestic transport industry transportation enterprise the information construction is not perfect enough; the combination of mainstream technologies is not very closely; most of the work in are relying on artificial labor in small transportation company. There is no doubt that all problems mentioned above will lead to goods transportation information feedback is not timely and in the process of incomplete, especially when some transport of dangerous goods and valuables, timely access to items latest status and vehicle geographic information is particularly important. So this article will study in transport logistics can be real-time acquisition and image information, transport vehicles of geographic information system based on the demand, it is of great significance.Most in transit on-board vehicle monitoring system are only focused on GPS monitoring of geographic information, also can’t to real-time tracking of goods, resulting in the insufficient monitoring comprehensively. In this paper, based on the integration of RFID can be real-time acquisition and serial camera module logistics information and image information, the all-round real-time monitoring tracking of vehicles and goods.The designing of the system is based on the idea of modularization. First of all, this paper introduces the key technology such as GPS, GPRS and RFID working principle, and then analyze the requirement of the system to each hardware module. At last, selecting the appropriate hardware build module and embedded development environment based on that demand. The system is based on S3C2440 A processor as the core, the embedded Linux operating system, with GPS module, RFID module and PTC08 camera module implements the real-time acquisition of information, and then through the GPRS module to transmit information to the monitoring center, the monitoring center, the items tracking information update to complete monitoring, including all via a serial port communication between modules and experimental board. This paper mainly introduces the various modules of the software implementation, The GPS module is used to collect vehicle geographic information; RFID module automatically scan items by RFID tags to realize the collection of logistics information; PTC08 camera module for image information when access to goods transportation; Also, in the car end and a custom application layer communication protocol between the monitoring center, the data package according to the agreement and through GPRS module to realize the transmission of information, to complete the monitoring items and the vehicle tracking.Finally, Doing several experiment by combining with the PC on GPS geographic information collection, logistics information collection, items of image information acquisition and data transmission and in a timely manner to correct problems in the experiments, the results show that the proposed system can timely and correct information collected and the transmission of information to the communication server.
